Tatum Presley, 4 Years Old

A Letter to my Daughter on her 4th Birthday

To my Tater Tot,

We have just celebrated your 4th birthday.

You've been trying to be patient while waiting for your 4th birthday to come around. As I am writing this post, I can't help but think about how far you have come. And while time is flying by, I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that you are 4 years old now. No matter what age you are, there are a few things I want you to never forget.

You are beautiful.
You are beautiful, inside and out. I love watching you and your sister play dress up, and walking around in your gold sparkle shoes with your nails painted in pink and purple. Always remember your beauty is so much more than that. Your heart is full of compassion and thoughtfulness towards others.

You make me so proud.
You are smart and you work hard. The excitement that radiates out of you when you have finished a project or when you show me an art piece is the same experience that I get with every little accomplishment you achieve.

Don't ever settle.
You are capable of anything and everything, so dream big. Never let anyone tell you that you are not good enough, smart enough, or pretty enough.

I Love You Sweet Girl!

Love,
Mom
