Its has been 2 months since a Tatum update, and I have missed my monthly blog post about her.
At 14 months I can say she has really transformed into quite the toddler. She is truly the best - or so I say as she's in her crib, asleep, acting like a total angel. I will tell you now you should never try writing a blog post when your child is sitting in the high chair. She just looks at me with those eyes, smiling while relatedly dropping her sippy cup on the floor, like a psychopath. Sleeping babies are the best blog post times. :)
Speaking of being a toddler, she has started a tantrum phase, we've definitely noticed that she's testing her boundaries and being quite dramatic. Its hit or miss on what her mood will be any given day and throw teething into the mix and some days are just disaster from the very start.
Tantrums aside, she has a very sweet side to her personality. She loves sitting in your lap and jellying, still loves being silly, playing peek a boo and being chased. She loves being surprised when I pop out from behind a wall.
When it comes to milestones she is doing very well. She is walking and talking(ish). She loves saying dog and dada. She loves food. Seriously, this child absolutely frantic about food and loves to eat. She is now eating pretty much everything we do. She still only has 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. She still is loves to sleep. She does two, two hour long naps, One 9:00am and one at 2:00pm.
The challenge right now is getting her off the bottle. She has transitioned from formula to whole milk, and only has them them 3 times a day, but she just doesn't want to take it from a sippy cup. So that is what we are working on right now.
Over all 14 months old is looking good on Tatum. She is an amazing little girl and I can't wait to get moved into our new house so she can have a little more room to play and run wild.
