Wife after God, Day 3 + 4

Wife after God is designed to walk you through a journey with god, that is tailored through the role of being a wife. I am going to go day by day and reflect on my relationship with god and my husband. I will not be summarizing days or writing the versus that correlate. But I will be journaling and using the refection questions to help me go through this next month.

Day 3: The Need for Companionship
In what ways do you see god pursuing companionship with you?
When you look up companionship, it means a feeling of fellowship or friendship. I believe that is what god is doing for me, he is bring me to closer to him and pursing a relationship with him. He is also having me make stronger bonds with friends and family that believe in him.

Do you trust your husband to fulfill tasks in your marriage just like God allowed Adam to name the animals?
I have learned that I am a controlling person, and a micro manager some might say. So I have had to learn to let go and know that we are a team and that I can trust my husband to the fullest. I am not alone on this journey, I have loved ones around me that I must trust to be able to live life to the fullest.

What is one thing you can do to build companionship with your husband?
Companionship is built on trust. So I think keeping open communication is key ingredient when it comes to build strong companionship with your husband.
Day 4: Your Spouse is a Gift
What other gifts have you received from God?
I believe I have received many gifts from God, but right now the greatest gift he has given me is the my unborn baby. I can't believe my due date is just 2 months from today. When you believe in God, I think you can look at many things being a gift, as life is a gift and what happens in this life, happens for a reason.

How does your attitude towards your husband reflect how you perceive Gods gift?
Todays chapter helped me realize my husband is a gift from God. My husband understands me to the fullest and without any judgement, he also supports me even when I don't realize it. He is my best friend and partner in crime. This makes me aware of how blessed I am.

How can you and your husband be a gift to others?
We can fulfill the needs of friends and family around us and continue to show hospitably, prayer, compassion, and love to them all.
