Wife after God, Day 17 + 18

Wife after God is designed to walk you through a journey with god, that is tailored through the role of being a wife. I am going to go day by day and reflect on my relationship with god and my husband. I will not be summarizing days or writing the versus that correlate. But I will be journaling and using the refection questions to help me go through this next month.

Day 17: Wisdom Calls Out
In what instances have you acted on your own wisdom instead of God's wisdom?
I am now a believer that you should never go to bed angry at one another. Before I would try to avoid a situation or hold back, my husband is always good at getting me to speak and we can reconcile any differenced before going to bed. This is always better than the nights I would act on my own wisdom.

What are some areas in your life that you desire to have more wisdom?
I want to be able to devote myself and be able to seek God wisdom in all aspect of my life.

How will being a wife devoted to gaining God's wisdom affect your marriage?
I think seeking God will affect not only your marriage, but your whole life. I think we can tolerate more and see more clearly when we seek Gods wisdom.

Day 18: Diamond In The Rough
What pressures do women face currently?
I have said this in a few daily discussions, but I will continue because it all goes together. I feel like I get stressed and make myself overwhelmed and that often builds my pressure. Also as a women I feel we all have pressure to be perfect, beautiful ect. in whatever way that looks to you. But we have to know that God make us individuals and we are all beautiful and perfect in our own way.

What types of pressures make it difficult for you to have joy in your marriage?
I think in todays society, life itself can be the pressure that make things difficult to have Joy. I think if we learn to live life to the fullest and let God into your lives he can help alleviate those pressures that are not needed.
