Gold Coated Jeans / How to Wash Jeans

I'm definitely a fan of these gold jeans now, but I'm not going to lie to you all they sat in my closet for a good while before I was confident enough to wear them. These coated jeans are super sexy and fun and surprisingly wearable. They are for those days you want to wear something a tad more special than your plain blue jeans.
As you can see above I have paired these gold coated jeans with a chambray shirt and can wear this outfit to work for the day, then to dinner for night. One thing to remember about coated jeans is that the coating on the denim makes them a bit less stretchy than your average denim. So normally you want your denim to be tight in the fitting room because they will stretch ad least 1/2 a size, with coated denim it will not stretch as much. With that all said I would still recommend to stay true to your size when buying coated denim.
I am going to fill you in on a little secret, how to keep your coated denim (really any denim) clean. They way to clean any jeans without excess fading is the same, turn them inside out before washing, use cold water on a gentle cycle, and keep them inside out when you dry them. I only dry mine for a few minutes and then let them air dry. Then there is also freeze cleaning. Place the jeans in a ziploc bag, and put them in the freezer for 24 hours, which will freshen them right up without washing. Then just thaw, wear, and repeat. Freezer washing is best when you have stained your denim. I usually do this in between washes.
