The Austin music scene, garage sales, Pinterest (let's be real)

string of pearls, some form of other jewelry that could function doubly as weaponry, the perfect pair of skinny jeans, the perfect printed sundress, leather motorcycle jacket.

what is your "go to" outfit (if you have one)?
Platform heels, skinny jeans, oversized, super soft jersey shirt with a pocket on the side, messy top knot, obnoxiously colored-fingernails, feux brass knuckles. The beauty/sadness of working at  a film production company is that all of these things are acceptable.

Here is a blog post she wrote for us at my love affair with fashion:

It's 103 in Dallas today. Not only is it 103, but it's humid. Which means even if you had enough moisture in your body to break a sweat, you couldn't because the air is so laden with rain that will never be that you can practically swim through it.

Don't get me wrong. I love Texas. A lot. Maybe more than anything. But it's days like these where I'm wishing it was fall. Not only that, I miss school. I miss my house, and friends, and roomies, and professors, and yes, even my school work.

So. For all of you out there suffering through heat waves like I am. Or are just as nerdy as me and miss your tests and quizzes, this is for you. I put together the outfit I would be wearing if it wasn't in the triple digits as well as one of my favorite songs. Stay cool, y'all!

I Can Tell That We Are Going to be Friends

Thanks so much Brennan for being a guest on my love affair with fashion! And I hope all of you go check out this Girl's Awesome blog!
